BUS FAQ’s 🚌
1. Alcohol is NOT permitted on the bus. Please support the local businesses that we are stopping at.
2. No body parts outside of the bus while in motion. Waving to people and shouting is okay if it is not vulgar. Remember that you are representing a business while on the bus!
3. No flashing, mooning, or pulling out genitals. Again, you are representing a company, and we want people to not only join us but to come back.
4. You must have your liability waiver signed before each crawl before being allowed on the bus. Failure to do so will get you left behind. The guide will have an online waiver link available to send you at check-in.
5. Do not try to sneak anyone on the bus. The guide will keep a list of the guests and know if someone new shows up throughout the crawl. This can get you kicked off the bus for the evening. Don’t be that person! If there is room and they want to pay for a ticket, please see the guide so that it is done correctly, and everyone has fun.
6. If you throw up on the bus, you will be paying a cleaning fee. Please let the guide know if you aren’t feeling well so that they can get you what you need.
7. Please do not get on the bus until the guide and driver have safely cleared the road.
8. Failure to follow the rules can get you booted from the crawl without a refund.
9. Don’t forget to tip the bartenders and wait staff at each stop. Make sure to give them grace when they are slammed with up to 40 people at once.
10. Don’t forget to tip your driver and guide for the evening as they work hard to get you where you need to go safely while having a fantastic evening full of fun and memories!
Q: What if I want to leave the crawl early?
A: You can voluntarily leave anytime you’d like. However, you will need to arrange pick-up. Please don’t forget to tip your driver and guide before you go!
Q: Can I request songs while on the bus?
A: Yes! We highly encourage it. Let the guide know what you’d like to hear, and they can put it in the queue.
Q: Can I dress up for the themed crawls?
A: Yes! We highly encourage you to dress up! We may even do ticket giveaways occasionally for best dressed!
Q: If I am late, can I meet you at the next stop?
A: Yes, but please keep in contact with the guide BEFORE the crawl starts! We will be unable to drop you off if you park somewhere else to join the crawl. So be mindful that you will need to Uber or find a ride back to that spot.
Q: What will the stops be?
A: If it’s a public crawl, they are a surprise!! You will only know the pick-up and drop-off points. If it’s a privately booked crawl, you get to pick your stops!!
Q: How long will we be at each stop?
A: 45-50 minutes. Please be mindful of this throughout the night as we will need to load back onto the bus and head to the next spot. Also, make sure to order food upon arrival if you get hungry to ensure that they have enough time to cook it before getting back on the bus.
Q: Can I bring food on the bus?
A: Yes, food can come on the bus in a to-go container! Please remember to clean up after yourself. Alcohol is not permitted to come on the bus!
Q: Can I choose where we stop?
A: Only if you book the bus privately. Otherwise, all stops will be chosen ahead of time by Local Motive Staff to ensure that the venues can take us and set up specials for the evening beforehand.
Q: Can I get a refund if I am unable to make it?
A: We will need a 24-hour notice for a refund otherwise you will receive credit to come on a future crawl with us!
Q: Can my friends join the crawl at the last minute?
A: More can join in on the crawl if there is open seating, they pay for their ticket, and sign the waiver. Please see your guide for the evening to make sure there is availability.
